PROJECT SHOWCASE
Having worked as a Creative Freelancer and sole-trader for over five years, Jada understands that time and resources are both finite and precious. Emmy from The Spiritual Scientist was in need of a website redesign and in particular phone optimisation as the website she had made had not converted correctly. Being busy with her business meant that she didn’t have the time to fix it. The goal was to fine-tune her brand identity through visuals, fonts and vectors and for “clients to really get a feel for who I am.” As Emmy’s business utilised appointments and an array of services, she wanted the website to do the heavy lifting in terms of scheduling and conversion so that she could spend more time being present with clients and take on more appointments. She also requested accessibility features such as higher contrast/dark mode, which Jada was excited to fulfil.

Brand Identity
Emmy needed further clarification on her branding visuals and the symbolism behind The Spiritual Scientist. After probing further about the ethos behind her brand, Jada presented Emmy with an updated branding guide to help her hone in on the creative identity behind The Spiritual Scientist and support any future branding or creative work she might commission not only from Jada, but other artists and designers.
-
Jada understands the importance of colour symbolism, and presented Emmy with palettes as they uncovered her brand more and more. Purples, blues and teals were selected to create a mystical theme in conjunction with black.
-
Approaching Emmy’s brand from an artistic sense, Jada recommended a mixture of both metallic gold and silver accents to contrast against pearlescent textures to signify the combination of spirituality and science.
-
The website banner further drew in Emmy’s target audience in a creative, almost ethereal way.

2. Website Design & Copy
Emmy was in need of a website redesign. The goal was for “clients to really get a feel for who I am.” As Emmy’s business utilised appointments and an array of services, in conjunction with a visual redesign, the website copy was also remodelled to do the heavy lifting in terms of providing information and conversion so that Emmy could spend more time being present with clients and take on more appointments. She also requested accessibility features such as higher contrast/dark mode, which Jada was excited to fulfil.
-
In order for clients to get the information needed before reaching out to Emmy for clarification, frequent calls to action were placed on all pages to support the website doing the heavy lifting
-
The website redesign centred Emmy as the business owner and sole-trader, with the copywriting and visuals reflecting her opinions to reach out to like-minded audiences
-
Jada and Emmy sat down to workshop the most frequent obstacles and questions that were being asked, and provided solutions embedded in the copy
